Yesterday I got an email from the case manager in Pittsburgh. She stated that because of the coronavirus, they are “rapidly implementing video visits,” and that they will likely be scheduling my video visit in the near future. She still doesn’t know when I can actually be seen for treatment but will be speaking with the doctors today or early next week for their input. I told her that at this point, I will drive out there if necessary! What’s three days on the road? I’m still blown away by the fact that they are even considering helping me, especially now. As she ended her email, she thanked me for my patience. She thanked me. Wow.
Hopefully things will continue to move forward, even if slowly. In the meantime, I will try be patient…
