So that’s where things are at the moment. I’ve communicated more with the case manager but of course everyone’s overwhelmed with the response to this virus so this may take some time. I did tell her that right now, my clinics have been cancelled, and I’m not seeing patients, so IF the opportunity arose for me to come out there soon, I could be there within a day. But I’m doubtful that will happen. So I will be patient. Obviously, this isn’t about me. It’s the end of the world as we know it.
I went yesterday for more blood work and an EPO shot. The nurse said the pharmacist upped my dosage a bit because I wasn’t maintaining the hemoglobin levels as well as they would like. (I’m hopeful that those extra 5 mg lets me skip a week now and again because I have to pay $111.00 out of pocket each time I get a shot! That’s going to add up.)
Hemoglobin: 9.6
